Welcome
Everyone is welcome to our Sunday morning service. TW is known for a warm and friendly atmosphere. Everyone receives a program and a Bible to use throughout the service. We’d love you to stay afterwards during refreshments so that we can get to know you!
Worship
Our Sunday worship is the highlight of our week. Everything we do is shaped by the Gospel of Jesus – whether singing old and modern songs, confessing our sins and finding assurance, reading scripture, praying, or listening to sermons preached from the Bible. And every service climaxes with celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
Children
Children are an important part of our church family life. On Sunday mornings our service begins with the whole church together, then children leave for teaching and activities in various groups.
Crèche
0-2yrs
We provide a crèche where children from 0–2 years old can be cared for during the service. Parents are welcome to keep their children in the service (we don’t mind them making noise), stay with them in crèche or leave them in the care of our team. The crèche is available for use at any point in the service, even when our team is not present.
Beginners
3-5yrs
This group enjoys a simple Bible story, taught in an engaging way, with songs, games, crafts, and activities to help remember the story. This is a great way to start grasping the fundamentals of the faith.
Intermediates
6-10yrs
This group looks at the same Bible story as the Beginners but has activities and games tailored to older children. There will be a chance to read the passage and discuss some simple questions about what they have heard.
Teens
11+ yrs
This group meets every other week during the service for a Bible study, with a chance to ask questions and discuss what they have been hearing. During the other weeks the teens stay in the sermon.
Every leader involved with children’s and teens groups has been DBS checked and received safeguarding training. See our Safeguarding page for more information.
How to find us
Edward Woods Community Centre is located at the top of Norland Road, a two minute walk from Shepherd’s Bush station. If you are driving, street parking is available until 1pm on Sundays (but not permitted in the housing estate.)
