Children

Children are an important part of our church family life. On Sunday mornings our service begins with the whole church together, then children leave for teaching and activities in various groups.

Through our TW Kids programme we want to partner with families in teaching children to know God through his word. So children will receive teaching that unfolds the story of the Bible, points them to Jesus, and helps them grow in understanding what it means to be a Christian.

Parents can be confident that their children will be safe with us, as everyone who is involved in our children’s work has been DBS checked to ensure their suitability for these roles. We also regularly train our team members to ensure they are familiar with the latest safeguarding practices.

Crèche

We provide a crèche where children from 0–2 years old can be cared for during the service. Parents are welcome to keep their children in the service (we don’t mind them making noise), stay with them in crèche or leave them in the care of our team. The crèche is available for use at any point in the service, even when our team is not present.

TW Kids

For children up to Year 6, we provide fun, engaging teaching from the Bible that runs during the sermon. There are three classes for different age groups. All classes follow the same programme, but the lessons are taught at an appropriate level for each group. We use Mustard Seeds resources as the basis of our lessons. You can see an example curriculum for a term here.
